The Coveted Golden Fork Competition 2012!


Chef Tate took third place.

All of the competing chefs’ dishes were fresh, creative and delicious. Standouts included Roberts’ handmade pork sausage in an Italian wedding soup; Barden’s saffron-rubbed pork, as well as her “pigs in grass” with sliced pork and charred chives, artichoke hearts and lentils; Stearns’ crispy panko-crusted pork on artichoke risotto; Vega’s tender balsamic-marinated pork served in a hot skillet; and Foust’s visually sumptuous and tasty tower of smoked figs, braised celery, tender pork and a glossy, thick balsamic reduction.…read more
